Ayurvedic Hair Mask Recipe

Ayurveda, is about a whole lifestyle of health and well-being, purity and joyousness for the greatest purpose of realizing one’s own nature. The focus of Ayurveda is on absolute perfect Health.  Ayurveda places great emphasis on prevention and encourages the maintenance of health through close attention to balance in one’s life, right thinking, diet, lifestyle and the use of herbs. No matter what type of hair nature blessed you with, there are things you can do to keep it healthy, lustrous, looking its best.

Ayurvedic hair powders accelerates lush growth of hair. They strengthens the hair, prevents hair loss and dandruff.  They also serve as a precaution against premature greying of hair.

Abnormal hair falls (shedding) and premature greying are due to infection at the hair root and lack of nutrients.  Greying is due to reduction of melanin content which is cured when melanin enters through the hair root.  Infections with symptoms like dry scalp, dandruff causes damage to the bulb shaped hair root which increases number of falling hair.  If the root is still active, the application of Ayurvedic treatment on the scalp (i.e. the root region) gives good results to most people. The results improve when it is supplemented with eating at least five servings of fruits and vegetables daily.

Be sure to mix the right Ayurvedic powders to maximize results.  Mixing the wrong combination of powders can cause excess dryness.
