Energizing Smoothie

Enjoy a power protein smoothie post workout or enjoy as a lunch snack. This smoothie packs a punch! In addition to the great benefits of protein, also included are electrolytes, antioxidants, fiber and omega 3. For best effect, consume this shake within one hour after your workout. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
– 11 oz One coconut water or Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera Juice
– 2 scoops whey protein
– 1/2 cup crushed ice
– 1/2 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
– 1 tbsp. flax seed or chia seed
– 1 tbsp. honey, agave or maple syrup (optional)

You will need:
– blender, measuring cup, measuring spoon spatula

Pour coconut water in blender then combine remaining ingredients. Blend well. Serve immediately. Makes two servings.
